US Marshal Teddy Daniels has come to Shutter Island, home of Ashecliffe Hospital for the Criminally Insane. Along with his partner Chuck Aule, he sets out to find an escaped patient, a murderess name Rachel Solando, as a hurricane bears down upon them.
